Zara is the most important brands of the Inditex group. It was founded by Amancio Ortega in 1975 and, since then, there have been approximately 1671 stores opened. This brand is one of the most important brands in the world, and it was regarded by Daniel Piette Louis Vuitton Fashion Director, as “possibly the most innovative and devastating retailer in the world”.

It is true that a proper Web Communication Plan (WCP) is important for a company, but so it is advertising and Zara’s main policy is no-advertising. Not surprisingly, its WCP is totally different to their direct competitors’. Continue reading

What should the conduct of a blogger be like? Blogger’s Code of Conduct.

In response to the anonymous difamatory comments -which KatTim O'Reillyhy Sierra had experienced in her blog- Tim O’Reilly (2007) called for a Blogger’s Code of Conduct. Based on the ideas given at O’Reilly’s ETech conference 2007, there was a draft made. It would lead, in words of O’Reilly, to “create a culture that encourages both personal expression and constructive conversation”.
